Dear EWC members and newcomers:

We are about to begin year number 101, not unlike those famous Dalmatians, and I am ready, are you?

My famous, long-standing (and sitting) supportive and active writing critique group and I have been enjoying our work and continue. They keep me on my toes and fingers with writing and improving.

I urge you, after paying our dues September 7th, to be sure to pay dues to be a part of OWFI by October. It is my long-standing association with both to keep writing, learning, and enjoying the wonderful networking involved. Our affiliation, memberships, and participation in these two, help keep writing alive and well and supported in our state and beyond.

Now, a few last little bits here and that is: please send your bio to me for a collection for our members to have and enjoy. Not just a running tab on the info most of us already know, but a young photo…a now photo and one more for good measure. Let us get to know you by telling us something about you not everyone may know. A hobby, a favorite trip, your family, the name of your next book, an item from your bucket list, favorite pet, a favorite memory, something you would like to do that you just haven’t gotten to yet, the most challenging thing about your life right now, you get the idea? I congratulate the one member who did send me a bio…thank you, Shelley.

When will you start writing your memoir, graphic novel, romance, thriller, sci-fi, horror, comedy, self-help, poem, blog, column, etc.?

Plan to attend the OWFI conference in 2024 (AND enter their writing contest and ours too, of course!!!!)
